MAKING & CONFIRMING
A BOOKING
Please use the Booking
Form on the Web-Site
or e.mail your enquiry
directly to enquiries@highdalemeadows.com
detailing the dates
required etc. We will
confirm availability
and hold the booking
for 3 days to allow
you to send your confirmation
and deposit cheque.
We can of course take
deposits via Internet
Banking.
A deposit of £100.00
will be taken at the
time of booking with
the balance due 4 weeks
before the commencement
of your holiday. If
you are booking within
4 weeks of the rental
period then payment
must be made in full
at the time of booking.
We will confirm the
booking either by e.mail
– our preferred
method – or by
post.
Within the Booking
Confirmation we will
confirm the details
re collection of the
Key and Access to the
Country Club etc.
Please check the Booking
Confirmation carefully
and Report any Errors
immediately.
Non-Payment of the
final balance constitutes
cancellation of the
holiday and the forfeiture
of the deposit.
2.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
We provide all Bed Linen
– including a
change of bedding for
rentals over one week.
Towels for use within
the cottage are provided
. You must provide your
own Towels for use at
the Country Club and
away from the cottage.
The Country Club does
have towels available
for Hire.
Membership of the Country
Club is included for
the duration of your
stay. You must abide
by the Rules of the
Club – failure
to do so will mean the
suspension of your Membership.
Entry is limited to
the people named on
the booking form.
Membership of the club
is limited to the use
of the Swimming Pool,
, Sauna, Steam Room
and Gym only. Any additional
facilities , i.e . Fitness
Classes or Beauty Treatments
are additional costs
that must be paid by
you.
There is one Parking
Bay allocated to the
Cottage although there
is ample parking nearby.
Cars are parked at the
owners risk.
3.
BREAKAGES & GOOD
HOUSEKEEPING DEPOSIT
A £100.00
breakage and good housekeeping
deposit is required
with the balance payment.
This will be refunded
within 14 days providing
there are no breakages
or damage to the property.
You will be advised
of any repair costs
or additional cleaning
costs when we check
the cottage after your
departure.
4.
OCCUPANCY
You must not exceed
the number of people
listed on the booking
form. If you do your
booking will be terminated
and you will be required
to leave the property.
5.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you have to cancel
the booking the Booking
Fee will be forfeited
unless we can re-let
the cottage. Any booking
cancelled within 4 weeks
of the rental start
date will forfeit all
fees paid.
In the unlikely event
that we have to cancel
the booking a full re-fund
will be given.
6.
COMPLAINTS & PROBLEMS
We have done as much
as we can to ensure
that you have an enjoyable
and problem free holiday,
however should a problem
arise during your stay
PLEASE REPORT IT AS
SOON AS POSSIBLE. We
will endeavour to resolve
the problem as quickly
as possible. If we are
not notified in writing
within 14 days of your
stay then we cannot
accept any liability.
7.
LIABILITY
We have no liability
for any death or personal
injury. You must take
all necessary steps
to safeguard yourselves
and personal property.
No liability is accepted
in respect of damage
to or loss of personal
property.
8.
DATA PROTECTION
We adhere to the Data
Protection Act of 1998.
We are the sole collector
of personal data provided
to us by customers and
prospective customers.
We do not pass any personal
information to any other
body.
FOR
YOUR SAFETY:
Due to the proximity of
the on-site pond, young
children should be supervised
at all times. We also
advise that the main bedroom
may not be suitable for
young children due to
the Mezzanine Floor that
overlooks the lounge.
